make that 7 cents. when you drop in a new motor, you usually do a clutch. so the breakin is based on the 500mile clutch time. otherwise, i've always been told to drive it. drive it slow. drive it fast. load it up. you want the engine to see all RPM ranges and all loads. that website makes it sound like a cosmic discovery. and no, you cannot break in any thing (engine, clutch, brakes, speakers) without using them.
