Message if you think about it, the temperature of the exhaust gases on the bigger turbo side would be higher due to the larger backpressure (since the turbo takes more energy to spin, the gases get backed up so there's heat buildup). Basically, it the heat distribution amongst both cylender banks is off, the engine can perform well because the intake air/fuel are the same temperature for the whole engine, so how would you compensate for two sets of operating temperatures? I'm sure that given enough money and time, someone could make it happen though.
