...and I appreciate your honesty in answering the questions. I believe it is safe to say that you may not be able to run as much boost, and thus make less power, if the car were driven hard in a hot climate. The 100 octane fuel certainly raised the octane by some amount, and you are running in a fairly cool environment. You used fans on the intercoolers, so any heat soaking that might occur in traffic could cause problems. Add all of this up, and I suggest that a turbo'd NA setup for reliable performance in all conditions will probably need to run at some lower output(boost) in order to prevent detonation in hotter, dryer climates. Don't get me wrong, the project is very interesting. I think the points above are worth mentioning to those who are thinking about slapping turbos on an NA and using it for transportation. Those who are simply gonna race the thing probably don't have to worry a bit, since they will probably run race fuel.
