if it's just me or not, but that Z in the demo sounds kinda tired and whiney. I think my concerns would be the same as Onyx's. Without beefing up the tranny, you're putting it through the same torture as just downshifting from the stick. I just put a new tranny in my '91, and I'm not inclined to manually downshift, especially if I'm out of the prescribed shift range. I would like to be able to control one thing, though. Once you've passed about 20mph, you can't get back into first by hitting the throttle. I know with my Z, it takes a second for it to start spooling again. (Not a good speed to start a race from if you're already in 2nd.) It would be nice to be able to control the shiftpoint by RPM.
