truly good imaging and proper soundstage or are you just after brightness and stealth. Seems like all the advice I'm reading has to do with stealth being the main focal point. It's amazing how these same people can be so anal in how you go about fixing and treating Z's but then give advice that totally contradicts the professional car audio community. If your TRULY worried about proper image placement and producing a PROPER soundstage then you need to research this in sources that provide scientifically backed up priciples.
All you have to do is ask the members here how they would set up their gain structure or measure the transfer function of their car. I can almost garauntee that most would say A) by ear B) don't know. I'm not saying I know it all but I have been into car audio for about 14 years and have done a lot of research and know some of the top people in the industry. Do what you want but never say you weren't warned.
