This all seems like HORRIBLE service and bad luck, but wouldn't the logical solution be to get the car back from them and find another mechanic? Perhaps the warranty is only applicable from the Nissan dealer, and this might be the only dealer in Tempe, but holy s#it! Let's be realistic about this. There shouldn't be any reason why this person's car got any less attention than the other patrons, so why wouldn't they just get the car out of hock, give a big ol "Fu#k you" to the dealer, and find someone else to actually get it done in a reasonable time period? Then to make matters worse, they're spending their free time picketing the place. All because of warranty fulfillment? There must be something fundamental that I'm not picking up on.
