Message You'd think with efficiency and emissions regulations getting stricter you'd see a trend in the industry to move towards something that gave better gas mileage and cleaner emissions. Yet the trend has been towards MAP sensors, most new cars use them.
I don't think they would be used if they were not accurate. I'm willing to bet that they do their job very well.
