Message	effectively lessen the intake restriction by a factor of two. I'm not sure how much restriction the intake between the filter and turbo intake sees, but it would be an interesting study to see the differences between a car with and one without dual-intake. Measuring the vacuum on the pipes between the filter and the turbo intake would tell you what the restriction level actaully is.
