You sound like you want to become the "spiritual leader" of all the down-trodden, pitiful NA drivers! Not everyone with an NA dreams of some day being able to make 500rwhp and drive their cars once a week. My NA is my only car, and for me is the best combination of my priorities (stylish, reliable, fun to drive), and I don't see those priorities changing until well after I'm done school and have a ridiculous amount of money on my hands. And when that happens, I'll be hunting down a different kind of TT, 993 to be specific ;). I love NA Zs and TT Zs, but they're different cars that can't simply be compared by their horsepower rating. I agree that what Ash, Chip, and Z1 are doing is exciting, though, if only to see to what extent these engines can be pushed. However, none of these setups will produce 150K+ mile reliability, or else Nissan engineers would never have made the decisions they did. I am disappointed by how many people can't understand or appreciate why someone might want an NA even though they have the money to buy a TT. For someone who enjoys doing his/her own work, like myself, it comes down to a question of time management and priorities. Obviously, each person who reads this forum has Zs high on their list of priorities, but everyone draws the line in a different place.
