Message Your oil pump is a constant volume (at constant rpm) variable head pump. At any given speed, it will move the same oil volume. The discharge pressure needed to do this will depend on the oil viscosity and the velocity of the oil flow downstream of the pump. The velocity downsteam of the pump is set by the oil volume flow (a function of pump speed) and the area available for flow (essentially fixed). The oil viscosity is set by its composition and temperature. None of these are affected by the level of oil in the oil pan.

If the oil level gets to low, the pump will loose suction. To avoid this, the level must be at or above the minimum NPSH for the pump.

The only way raising the level in the pan could affect pump discharge pressure would be if the return to the pan is below the level. Even then, it would require a 2-3 ft increase in level to give a 1 psi increase in discharge pressure.
