Message First thing I did after we finished that job last weekend was go out and buy a pair. I think Harry can do a whole engine rebuild with a pair of those =)

After you get the clamps repositioned up the hose a bit, don't pull on the hose, which just causes its grip to tighten (like a Chinese finger puzzle). See if you can gently break the seal on the hose first by grapsing it with some padded pliers, and twisting it. Also, you can try to get a flat edge screwdriver past the edge of the hose and PUSH it off the metal sleeve without tearing it.

As a last resort, check the slack in your hose. If you have enough, start cutting at the the end of the hose, as little as you need to remove it, then trim and replace. I had to do that on one of my hoses. If none of that works, you will probably end up cutting it off and replacing it, which isn't as bad as it sounds. You can get at the wastgate connection from underneath the car.

The boost jets are worth it. You won't be sorry (assuming you have also upgraded you ECU).
