For #1, I really doubt that two tiny light bulbs would have an influence of half inch thick urethane, specially when you consider that my muffler tips are as close to the bumper as the lights are, and those heat up dozens of times more than the bulbs. #2 is also a very good point, but if I ever see someone leaning on my car or using my bumper as support for boxes, I'll kick them in the nuts! I'm a little anal about my car when it comes to these things. As for the center console lid, I'll be re-padding that sucker pretty soon =) I really think it's caused by repeated parking lot hits. Cars now have very low front ends, so it's harder to see your own front when parking. George
