Message Does anyone know how well fire extinguisher media flows through metal tubing?

My idea is this: Attach a network of SS tubing (1/4", 3/8" ?) to the underside of the hood with holes that point down over the engine. This network would be fed by a single line that runs over to the hood hinge on the driver's side with some sort of female receptacle with a conical-shaped rubberized inner surface that you could jam the fire extinguisher nozzle into and blast it into the engine compartment. Sort of a ghetto manual firebottle system. I suppose you might be able to hook up a fire extinguisher permanently to the system too with some kind of check valve in there to make sure nothing comes the other way. I don't know what kind of pressure drop you'd see through the tubing and if that would be bad for the fire extinguisher since it normally exhausts to atmospheric pressure. Any thoughts/facts/experiences about this idea?
