Message	buy a honda civic for $4-5K. Do not mod it, put gas in it and change the oil. Put the remaining budget money in the bank and add to it only, do not withdrawl any. When you have enough to afford a good Z (around $10-$12K) then go ahead and buy one. Keep the honda as a daily driver. If you don't mind a car payment, $7K is a nice down payment on a $10-12K Z. But always make sure you have some money stashed for maitainance, repairs, emergencies, etc. These cars can and will break. Good luck in your Z search.
