| Messes up my reply :) Just realize I'm a peaceful guy trying to help out. I may not do a bang up job being detailed every time, but I do okay :) For one, I did point for him to Search. As for being the "end all" to the UPD debate...I don't claim to be or want to be. What I do try to avoid is seeing this OVER AND OVER again (you may live for it, but I despise it heh). If I posted for someone just to search, this would all still come up. In fact, it still has to a degree :( My roles and ways of thinking have changed a bit since becoming an admin of the other forum and I try to avoid long debates that have already taken place many times (debate is good...it brings out issues, but not on the 15th time). As for taking responsibility for my "personal pros and cons" I don't know what to tell you. I wasn't posting my own personal opinions as I would have made it clear. That being said, the only aspect that was opinion and NOT fact was how much of an improvement it was. I could claim that dyno sheets make it fact but no one has done a good back to back comparison (not to my standards anyway). So I was taking the opinion of the masses, not my own (though I just happen to agree). I've searched a hundred times on this...and in fact I have a nice legal pad half full with surveys, pros and cons, people that do and don't like it, shops that endorse and don't endorse, dyno results, DINAN claims, etc (this was done when me and Ash were talking about it long ago). But I didn't spell it out. That's my fault...how can I try to stop a huge debate when I give out some data and not all? :)
:I want to live in a world where SeedyROM isn't the end-all be-all of the UDP debate. You can either (A) point them to the search function or specific posts on the topic. Or you can(B)accept the fact that if you decide to give your own personal pros and cons that someone else has the right to do so as well. You didn't even come close to diplomatically diffusing anything. If that was your goal you would have chosen option A.
:So in summation, I'll quit patronizing you if you stop trying to stifle the opinions of those on your dreaded "short list". :)
