Message I think I deserve more than that. I hate having to spell out every last detail which is why these 'all inclusive' posts are hard. What I meant about "a few problem" were the people that specifically had rod bearing failures and such. Not problems in GENERAL. That's even less scientific. So that's spelled out...

On the other side, it IS huge to me and it is to others. I can count 5 people off the top of my head that were BIG opponents to the UDP that decided it was "worth the so-called risk" after trying it out. For NA cars it does little...but for the Turbos it's awesome. It's more seat of the pants than most individual mods and even does well on the dyno across the band.

There are only three people on this forum of 3,000 that can still find a reason to post (or counter) to my attempts at diplomatically defusing a situation. You are on that short list. A) There's still no proof one way or the other B) People do it at their own risk C) It's likely it wears. What more do you want? :)

:To me the UDP gains are nowhere near "huge", as you stated. ESPECIALLY when considering the potential engine damage. The HP gains are negligible IMO. I guess we should define what huge is ;) I also don't want to rehash the tired old arguments, but I felt compelled to represent the other school of thought.
