Most late model premium filters from various manufacturers encorporate the same OEM designs, with the anti-drainback valves and such features, all you are paying for is the name and filter element they use (paper or fiber enhanced) or whatever material they use. But like Bernie says, you can't go wrong with a genuine Nissan filter, filteration on a Nissan filter is not the best, but is made to filter to the Nissan engine's tolerances. hope that helps.
