| Here it is in a nutshell: Logically and on paper it may slightly increase wear on rod bearing. However, most people modify knowing FULL well that you sacrifice a little bit of time on parts for more power. In this case, the gain is huge compared to the possible losses. At this point, not ONE piece of hard evidence has shown that a pulley has caused any problems on a Z. We've had a few people happen to have one installed when they had a bigger problem, but that's not scientific data. Sadly, we never WILL have that kind of data. You modify at your own risk.
