Message	Basically just smoothing out the surfaces of where the intake air goes through lowers the intake temperature? Is this because there is less resistance for the air to go in the engine? Do the rough edges create friction which creates heat? Rough edges being where the plenum meets TB, and shaving intake spline. Btw wouldn't it help if the intake spline was smoothed out? (it looked rough in the pic)
