the hoses also get worn, old and brittle. braided lines look great, but wormgear clamps are put under alot more stress when trying to compress braided lines. New clamps will need replacing sooner, if not failing completely when used with stainless lines. They also may not yield enough PSI to create a good enough hose to bard seal.it's recommend for cheap money to invest in new clamps and new rubber line. this will yield the best results over a long period of time for less then $30. investing(?) in braided requires hundreds ($150 or more) dollars in proper fittings (2 fittings per location at LEAST) and even more expensive braided lines. when using the proper parts and pieces, you can yield outstanding leak proof fuel lines that will last 3x as long as rubber/clamps. but it requires a ton of research and R&D on your part. I *plan* on making a play by play tech article with exactly what you need (parts/partnumbers/suppliers) to convert the stock fuel system to a true twin (parallel) fuel system. B-ster and Chip(?) have already done something similar, but I want mine totally stealth. As stealth kicks MUCH goddamn ass. (so you fags with big ass wings, and glow-in-the-dark amplifiers on your package trays, please remove them.)
