I don't really care that much about drag racing, but what I don't understand is how people who spend tons of money on their Z's and have very custom setups run 12's. You hear of so many people spending SO much money and time on their Z's, and making 4xxrwhp. An example I like to look at is member timz - He took his TTZ, dropped some moderate sized HKS BB turbos, bigger IC's, bolt ons and aquamist on a bone stock motor and makes 530rwhp, runs mid 11's, and traps 120's. Not saying his car isn't rediculously fast, but his setup is NOT that crazy, different or difficult to get - WHY do people have such a hard time making the power (or more) his car does and running the times he does (or faster)? Slap some decent sized turbos and IC's in, along with some bolt ons, crank up the boost and go - I don't understand why this is so hard for people to do (money permitting of course).
