If you have the time and the inclination, it might be worth looking at and possibly repairing/replacing it yourself. The steering section in the factory service manual seems rather complete. (If you don't have a factory service manual, I highly recommend getting one. I've been pretty happy with the CD-ROM version from Courtesy (look on the right hand side of this page): http://www.courtesyparts.com/z32/index.html Just print out what you need, write notes all over it, and don't worry about getting it dirty.) I think the biggest thing you have on your side is time. Get the FSM, read the applicable sections of the steering chapter, take your time, and get help if necessary. If all else fails, you could still take it somewhere to get it fixed. B()T()S
