Black is my favorite color, so I was out for Black from day one fours years ago. Yellow is my second choice, but looking for a Yellow 1991 Z is damn hard. You have three choices here since it was a discontinued color that year. One, that is in awesome shape and low miles that your going to pay a mint for or Two, one that has been ran into the ground and needs much work and that very, very low number three of one that was used, yet cared for. Mine you the attrition rate for cars per year is greatly reduced by accidents, any kind of natural disaster and thief. So here some 12 years later looking for a car in a rare color worth a damn is very hard to find. Yet I went further than that, not only did I want a Yellow TT 1991, but it had to have an Airbag and Manual transmission. Which we all know the Air bag was an option that year and not all have it, became standard in 92. So that car in it's self to me is a collector. Like my Black one, it will be parked on full carpet, no rain and not a daily car. The car is fully stock which is the best way to get a sports car, because you know the limits of all the factory setting and have a greater chance of having a motor with an above avg. compression rating. Plus like my Black one, I grow with each and every stage of the car. My Black one was so stock I swear the plugs came from the factory when I pulled them in 99. The car had 72k on it and here four years later it has 90k even. And those miles come from out Z club meets that are an hour and a half away, plus trips to Seattle and back and our cruises. Plus I have a passion for the Z. When I get in my Black one, everytime feels like the first time. That level of excitement never leaves and that's what makes it so special to me still to this day. Now that I'm taking the Black one to some great power, I don't want to take it out all the time. So the Yellow one will be like a Stg XI or so and that's only because the stock turbo's will have to go someday and I'll replace those with Sport 500's or so. So just a little insight :)
