A friend of mine claims that in his Z, he can do a right hand sweeper near his house 5-8mph faster when he has a passenger versus when he is alone. He claims the tires start squealing at a higher speed when there is a passenger. His reasoning is that the passenger weight helps eliminate body roll and transfers more load to the inside tires. I'm thinking he's mistaken, and that the extras weight of a typical 150lb passenger would outweigh any balancing effect the passenger might have. His suspension setup is pretty thorough - front and rear STB's, anti-sway bars, RSR springs and Tokico Illuminas set on 3's, with 18X10 rear and 18X8 fronts, running Potenza S-03's. Opinions?
