I've lived in Germany for 12 years, my mother was born in Berlin, I work for a German automotive company and spend about 5 weeks per year there. There are a lot more differences we could go into but basically the setup of the infrastructure (ever notice it takes at least 5 miles to make a u-turn in Germany hence everyone knows exactly where they are going when they drive somewhere? there are divided curbed roads everywhere!) and the way people percieve driving (a right vs. a privilage).
