Ok, everyone is thinking: what kind of retard is this? Well, I have f***ed up 2 engines now and am tired of this damn 2+2. I am just going to put a n/a engine back in this thing and sell it. I started with a 90 2+2 that I traded a n/a engine for, then put a 96 tt engine in. You might be thinking that this would have been neet, well it was until I f*** up and knowingly did not connect up the waste gate hose. damn it was fast! for about seven blocks.:( Then I was pissed for about 1/2 a year. Then I put a 2nd tt engine in it, and of course connected the waste gate hose up! Wow everything works perfect, I kept telling myself that is was going to mess up, but it was good! Oh yea, then I tried turnning up the boost, this is where I get sad again. I got one of those $14 manual boost gauges(my cheep ass) and got it up 3 lbs to 12lbs. Everything was gravy till I pulled over and turned it up what I thought was vary little, it turned out to be 17lbs on stock injectors & stock 96 auto ecu. I beat a new vett starting in third gear , he pulled away at first, then the boost went up, and by the time I was shifting into 4th I was two cars ahead. Sure this was good, but the damage I did was not! I soon pulled over to turn the boost down and noticed that my baby was not feeling right, now I have too much ring blow by and begain pulling the engine to put a n/a in it to sell her.:( I will be buying a ttz here in town that needs engine work, and rebuild my tt engine again. I have got to be one of the biggest dumn asses in the area!
