Message The purpose of a turbo timer is to give the TURBOS a chance to cool. A turbo shaft can spin in speeds WELL exceeding 100,000 RPM. It gets very hot and the cartridges use oil to stay cool. If you run your turbos hard and dont let them cool, that cartridge will begin to coke from vaporized oil. The oil deposits can cause premature death of your turbos...If you run your turbos hard, let them cool down! =)
