Like you said, I will do whatever I want to my Z and not care one bit what others think. BUT, when we say that the little ricers 'devalue' our cars, it's not so much in the montetary sense as it is in the respect sense. I won't be selling my Z, so I'm not worried about what I could get for it. But when those of us who are enthusiasts, who love our cars and have put a ton of DIY work into them are among other car enthusiasts, or even out in public, we want a little respect that comes with owning and maitaining one of thses cars. When those other enthusiasts, or people in general, have seen our cars running around like rolling billboards for bad taste, we automatically get lumped in with them and lose a few respect points right off the bat. Thats the devaluation we speak of. The enthusiast is 'devalued' to a punk kid or a ricer. We don't want that. Ad given the chance to converse with others, that respect may come back. But on a sight only basis, we and our cars are 'devalued' because of the little ricers.
