Message	else. Eagle Rods are fairly good rods and should be good for upto 750HP, the Pauter Rods are better quality than the Crower rods (better material, better balance, higher tensil strength). Tell me did the machine shop say they could sell the crower rods at a good price? Here is a pic of a crower rod versus a Pauter Rods.
