| What you don't realize is that the $8200 Russell charged did not cover some of the major parts that Wagz supplied on his own. Things such as the Greddy TD-05 turbo kit (add $5+K to the total price for this alone). All the parts supplied by Wagz on top of what Ruzzell charged amount to an extra $7K to that $8200 figure (totalling $15+K), plus the various "issues" many of us have found, wasn't exactly what I call a good deal. Sure Russell is a great source for parts and many of us are grateful for his services but I honestly believe he could have done this project a lot better. Afterall, with Wagz praising them during the process, Wagz was indirectly drumming up a great amount of business for them so the long term aspect of this whole process was that Russell came out a lot better having done the work for Wagz in more than one way. And as a side benefit of having Wagz's car for 4 months, Wagz's car was a showcase project for many of those that came by to check out their crib. As a good business person, he should be bending over backwards trying to make things right rather than just tell him to buzz off and try to just sweep things under the rug. I've been in constant communication with Wagz since the beginning of everything and I'm fully aware of what his car has (mods and problems wise) both prior to and after the work performed by Russell. When I finally saw his car after Zcon, the first thing out of my mouth was "WTF???" and not "Dizzamm!!! Your ride's blinging to power of bling yo!"... OK, I wouldn't have said it like that but I wouldn't have been "Wow, what a work of art dude." Many people were present when I saw the car for the first time after the work and can attest to my response. And when Wagz told me about the various problems and things mentioned at Zcon, I can only agree with the responses after having looked over the work. There were too many "hack" jobs and serveral shortcuts I could see form the initial inspection. Russell's explanation on the Greddy down pipes is abismal(sp?) at best. Everyone who has done the research knows that a 1/4 pipe extnesion was needed to make the Greddy DPs fit with US-spec main cats or test pipes. So there is no excuse there. So for $8200, the quality of work done could have been a lot better. And frankly the level of work performed looked more like a backyard shadetree mechanic got his hands on it. No offense to Russell as this was his first big project but it still doesn't address the issue of making things right.
