if things go right, and go faster! I did the aforementioned driving in the Pony Express 2001, and ran the 130mph average class. I basically went too fast during the first half of the race and had to back off during the last half to get the 130 average. My average for the first 45 miles of the 88 mile race was about 145....so I had to back down to an average of about 120 for the last half.
So........I plan to return this year and enter at least the 140mph average class.....this is the reason that I tackled the dry sump project....to keep oil temps in check at the higher speeds, which was the biggest concern I had after completing the PE2001.
