| In safety boost the ECU reads from the low octane map. In the stock ECU, the low octane map has timing values that are changed from the normal map to reduce timing. In his program, the timing values are reduced in the low octane map. In the JWT program, the timing values do not change from the normal to the low octane maps. But truth be told I should probably shut up and go back to lurking. This is all fascinating to me but probably over my head :)
