I made the 90 degree bends the hard way by dicing up pipe and welding them together. I'll re-do it later with some nice mandrel bent tubing but this will work for now. Notice on the last pic how much straighter the flow is compared to the conventional set up. No more 90 deg bend. I basically replaced the tubes that are under the headlights so the angle they enter the front chamber points toward the bumper. This positions the filters up inside and out of the way of the air flow down below. I think this will prevent the MAS reading from getting F-ed up from turbulence. There is also much more room left now for other fun stuff like air horns and a PCV oil catch can. Yeah, I have to clean that other filter, it's got about 20K miles on it since the last cleaning. I wish I had some pics of my freshly ported exhaust manifolds, they came out nice!
