Message	Configure your WAP for a static IP instead of DHCP and you will have much quicker uptime. :awesome. I have the Linksys wireless router so I can have the laptop in the living room and be on the net and watch tv at same time. My desktop is hard wired via ethernet cable. Wirless speed is up to 1.8 megabits per second versus 2.6 megbits with ethernet cable. Of course this is with cable modem.
