Message :Hi,
:Just a few general questions regarding rebuilt engines:
:1) What generally are the main parts that get replaced?
the main parts

:2) Dependent on how good the job is, what can be expected as far how many miles the engine is able to go?
using stock parts, as long as a stock motor. 200+k
using aftermarket, stock boost, well over 200+k

:3) Are they usually dependable?
depending on the build

That being said, do they FEEL like the engine when it was first bought or can you tell that it was rebuilt(assuming you drove the car before the rebuild)?
other parts play into the "new car feel". Generally speaking, the motor should be quieter, smoother idling, and more responsive.
