Message On stock motor, an LS (non-vtec) with t3/t4E and tuning can do high 12s on drag radials or slicks at around 110-112 at 12 psi. GS-R model will be able to do slightly better if the owner is willing to take a chance at running high boost on that motor.

With a built motor, he can crank the boost up past 20 psi (I believe that turbo is efficient up to 28 psi) on race gas and potentially be making over 400 whp if tuning is good, it is in fact an E compressor housing, 57 trim or bigger wheel, etc. That's a lot of power for a 2600 pound car (and a lot of my friends with turbo integras have them down to 2500 easy without much weight reduction tactics). In fact, to give you an example, I remember an integra GSR fully built motor with t3/t4 featured in SCC a year ago making 490 whp and running 128 trap speeds. That's one quick car!

You are putting out maybe 420 hp or so? If his horsepower is anywhere close to that, he should be able to pull you easily just from the weight advantage.

If he rolls up with street tires (unlikely), definitely run him from a stop for your best chance. There still aren't any integras in the 11s on street tires at this point (unless it's a new record I haven't heard about yet), and that hasn't undergone significant weight removal.

On slicks, though, expect him to be pulling 11s easy at high boost if he can drive.

Good luck... try to get more info on his setup, how much boost he runs, etc.
