| I'm currently working on a kit to convert the stock recirc valves in order to eliminate the goose honk sound everyone gets when they ditch their stock airfilter box for open element air filter(s). This isn't a copy of AshsZ's method. Will be considerably cheaper than BOVs. Conversion could be accomplished easily at home for all you DIYers.

Would also be sold on a core charge basis, where I would send out a set of converted valves and once installed, the old ones would be sent back to me for a core charge refund. I realize these won't be the thing for everyone, but for those that want to kill the goose and not get the BOV sound in the trade, I think these will do it. Right now, I'm thinking they will sell for around $125/pair with a $50 core charge or, $100/pair for those that want to do it themselves. Again this is research, I'm not taking any orders as I have yet to get definitive answers from suppliers. If you are interested, please either respond here or e-mail me.
