If I had larger turbos and a freer flowing exhaust they would produce the torque and keep it up longer, producing more high end HP. But the stock turbos just won't flow enough air to keep that level up. Small turbos are able to build lots of pressure fast making nice low end torque but they won't push the kind of air needed to make big HP. On the other hand real big turbos never seem to put out good torque. Also, how well your engine puts out torque on the high end is an indication of how well it breathes. With stock cams, stock manifolds and precats my engine doesn't breathe very well at the high RPMs, so it fades fast. That's my best guess anyway. My car has 108,700 miles. And the last question ZPYRATE answered.
