| :We had our dyno day today here in Denver. I'm a little leary of the results of some of the cars. I'm not going to go into details an I don't want the flames coming back to me. We had a couple cars hit over 400HP at the rear wheels and they weren't boosting over 16 psi and they were running stock turbos. Given all the mods you can do whats the max RWHP you can get out of a Z on stock turbos? several cars doing it, i doubt.
i think you have to have a special car to do it. i know from our dyno testing, that stock ICs are a huge limiting factor. w/17-18psi and stock ICs, we couldnt eek out anymore then 380-ish.
my car HP wise has been a lame duck on the dyno. I offered to swap my intercoolers over and SEE the difference, but the other party declined. I was hoping to see the improved flow of HKS intercoolers take it up a few notches. IMHO, 400 is doable, but pretty rare. and maybe only possible once or twice. I doubt you'd see repeated results like that, especially on multiple cars.
Are you guys already on winter gas in denver? maybe that makes a huge difference... also, I've never dyno below 80degrees F.
