records as a statement when the odometer is broken, or the mileage being reported by the new title holder is less than the previous. As others have suggested, I think I would shy away from this car. Mine is a '90 with only 74k and some mods. I would not sell it quite that cheap, but the buyer could drive away with as much confidence as you can get in buying a used car. I think there are better deals to be had.
