Vans/Suvs :-( Like turtles, they need to carry all their belongings with them?

:A very slow and boring morning at work here.......... figured i'd pass along some new years wishes and a quick glance at the past evolution of the Family Sedan. It's really taken a turn for the worse in the past 10 years or so. Its too bad the station wagon was replaced by the minivan, who was in turn replaced by the overhyped SUV. You guys may make fun of the "old school" station wagon, or Minivan.......... but deep down you dont have to hide it, everyone has a sweetspot for a slightly off color, v8 station wagon with the wood paneling peeling off, oh yea that also seats 7 passengers comfortably. You may call them ugly. I call them automobile classics.
:
:1929 Ford Model A woodie station wagon
:
:1971 Mercury Marquis station wagon
:
:1989 Plymouth Voyager SE
:
:1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
:Okay you guys are right (as discussed in previous posts here on tt.net) I do agree, the world really has gone to crap lately with all this minivan and station wagon extinction. 2003 is almost here!
