Now I realize I should've put something next for a scale (like a quarter). :SynPower shouldn't of done that if installed properly, not that I am a big fan or anything. Try washing some of that metal off with some carb cleaner or something and take a closer look. I wonder if a small piece of metal like a ring or something accidentally got dropped in there when checking the fluid level. Ive seen stranger things happen (like the Junior mint espisode on Seinfeld). These pieces are magnetic, so it's not a gold (ring, etc.). I will try to clean them up a bit. :If you could prove that the metal was not used in the fabrication of the differential (like if it was 14k gold ;-)) then you might have a case. Thanks for posting the pics, I will be interested in knowing what you find out. I love a mystery, but I hate to see one at someones expense.
