changed the name from Neon, even if just for a marketing edge. Changing the name would have better marketed this car to non-Chrylser folks that are looking for a quick yet affordable car. I know several people with Neons that have had a lot of trouble with them, expecially the early models. One even had to return the brand new car for another car because of multiple problems. Neon is not a halmark of reliablity and engineering excellency. It will be a quick and fun car to drive, but it will always be a "Peon" in most of our minds. I wouldn't trade my Jetta 1.8T for it, and I would take a WRX over the Neon without doubt. Plus, its a 1.0 model, it may fall flat on its face riddled with problems, or it may become a respected car. Lets wait and see what happens over the next few years. Mike
