Message as for the price vs. the weight savings. No part of this buildup has been cost effective for me though. I do not see the exhaust as being any different than any of the other things I have done.

I actually sat down and put everything in an excel spreadsheet the other day. In the JUN motor parts, machine shop work, Pentroof manfiolds, HKS Turbos and wastegates and all of the misc. things we did to the motor/turbos I have over $20K into it. This includes no FMIC, fuel system, wheels, tires, clutch, seats, driveshaft, hood, suspension, or LABOR.

I will never widebody the car....just not my thing. Also plan on keeping the hatch.

Coil overs - Probably some sort of Ohlen setup. It will be aluminum bodied. I rarely drive the car and doubt I will be crusing where I do not know the roads well enough to avoid serious pot holes.

Traction will be something I address once I see what kind of problem with which we are working (ie, do I have traction issues from a 3rd gear roll). LSD is a possibility here.

Tranny - I purchased a new tranny from Nissan and hope that with my highway racing we will not have a problem. If we do, I plan on taking a serious look at the ridiculously overpriced 6 speeds available in the Japanese market.

All good points on your part though Carlos.

Bryan
