| A lower idle speeds a twin fan setup pushing 2850CFM. The stock fan pushs 4000 CFM at 6000 RPMS (or saids it thought). So at what RPM do you have to be to outflow a twin 11" fan setup? Lets say at 4000RPMS for simplicity. At 4000RPMS in 3rd gear you are a 60mph in 4th gear 80mph. How much air is being rammed into the radiator at this point? How about regular driving? Well on the highway most people would drive at 70mph and that is done in 5th at 2600rpms. At which point the stock fan is blowing less than the electric fans. So do electric fans have a disadvantage? Yes they suck up alot of electricity. Now the real trick here is to find out what does the stock fan really flow? Some say 4000CFM some say 6600CFM. I would like to have some real numbers of the clutch fan on how much air it truely flows.
