Message And when did I say BOVs will reduce turbo lag? Never. I said BOVs reduce spool times between shifts compared to recirculating valves. That's the performance increase I'm talking about. Think about it this way: Your stock exhaust system does the job of moving exhaust gasses out the back but an aftermarket system does it more efficiently. Same thing on the BOVs. They're just better units than stock and do the job of keeping the turbos spooled up more efficiently between shifts. Here's some reading for you.
