Message	system probably won't help you all that much for the 60' at least. however, if you are a average to mediocre driver, it will help you get the full potential of your car off the line. also, if you are not spinning your tires at all going down the track, the system won't help you in the 1/4 mile. lastly, is your friend's Z28's traction control factory installed? if so, it will cause him to be slower in the 1/4 mile. practically ALL factory traction control systems do this.
