| Everyone thinks core size is everything. It is not. The thing about any exchanger is the following 1) FPI. Fins Per Inch 2) Fin density how thick the fin is itself. 3) The number of Rows of the core itself. Now I did some research on copper itself and while it is a better conductor for heat but gold is better :-) That would be really bling bling if you made them from gold.. LOL Also Tube and fin is better design than bar plate simply because there is more surface area and no large thick plates to accumalate heat. Also the copper intercooler is going to very heavy in comparison to the aluminum almost 2.5X which is why people don't use them as much in racing.
