| Here is a few things to notice. FMIC Intercooler for Supra is 1.5K-2K, 300ZX is 1K for Stillen or 1.3K for FMIC from Chip or 2K for FMIC from border. Fuel kit for Supra is around 2K which consist of injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, and twin fuel pumps.
For the 300ZX borders are 1300, $150 for NISMO FPR or for a paxton fpr, and around 320 for twin walbros add connectors and you are at the same cost of 2K. Yes the turbo kit is cheap especially for the T88H which is 4K. But get a non greddy turbo kit like say the HKS T04R or the SP 67 kit and you are back to 5800. Which is same the cost as a TD05-18K kit. Now down pipe is a bit cheap for Supra around 350 versus 475, but the actual catback exhaust system for a the Supra dn the 300ZX costs around the same thing. Electronics cost the same. In our case we can even get away with the JWT ECU with Dual POP kit. However if you want HKS VPC it will cost the same thing for both cars. The one cool thing is the AEM ECU but that adds upto around 3K, 1500 for ECU, $125 for MAP sensor, $100 for EGT, $75 for AIT sensor, $800 for FJO O2 sensor and add HKS Ignition amp for around $500. Now if you want more than 550RWHP it more easily doable on the Supra you don't need to do any fuel mods. On a 300ZX its has not been shown that the motor can't take over 600RWHP it just hasn't really been done but I think with just new pistons, NA squirters, and some deflashing of the block done I think it could take as much power as the Supra if not more :-) So what am I missing here? Oh yes 300ZX owners are cheap bastards.. LOL
