Message	:My brother who's on the Navy just got stationed here up in Seattle. He drives a LS1 Trans AM ( 2001 ). It's an auto and he took me out in it last weekend for my first ride in one. Lots of low end power. I was thinking to myself as I sat in his car, that it felt like mine only I'm launching much higher than him with more power than him, but was shocked to feel the power and force that car had stock. But the power does seem to taper off mid to top end. The car feels like a boat when I drove it. The suspension felt so loose and the weird noises than knocks the suspension made as I made sharp turns just made me think once again about American cars. What I don't get is that all these American cars are naturally aspirated mid to high horse power cars, yet the NA Z guys can't make that kinda power with all the mods they do such as heads, air filter, UDP and so on, not until NOS in induced. Why the hell is that?
